Peter Barnes
How to Fight Climate Change Without
Soaking the Middle Class

Fighting climate change is going to cost all of us money.  That’s because the price of dumping carbon into the atmosphere must necessarily rise.  But a policy that soaks the middle class won’t last.  Barnes explores solutions to this vexing conundrum and shows how we can fight climate change in a way that’s fair to all.

Peter Barnes is Senior Fellow, Tomales Bay Institute; Co-founder of Working Assets; author of Who Owns the Sky? (2001), Capitalism 3.0: A Guide to Reclaiming the Commons (2006) and Climate Solutions: A Citizen’s Guide (2008)
